Heming, who wed Willis in 2009, recently opened up about her husband’s condition in an interview with Town & Country magazine.

“Finally getting to a diagnosis was key so that I could learn what frontotemporal dementia is and I could educate our children,” she explained in October.

Heming revealed that she is not “trying to shield” her young daughters from their dad’s declining health.

“I’ve never tried to sugarcoat anything for them. They’ve grown up with Bruce declining over the years,” she said.
