Ben Affleck reportedly showed ‘no interest’ in fixing marriage before Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce

Jennifer Lopez is ready to “move on” from Ben Affleck after filing for divorce after two years of marriage.
A source told People that the “Air” actor showed “no interest” in fixing their fractured union, so the “This Is Me…Now” star pulled the plug.
“She’s very disappointed and sad, but Ben hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage,” the insider shared.

Page Six confirmed that Lopez, 55, made the long-anticipated split official on Tuesday, which also happened to be the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding.
The “Jenny From the Block” singer listed their date of separation as April 26, 2024.

A financial information sheet submitted as part of the divorce petition, and obtained by Page Six Wednesday, suggests Bennifer 2.0 didn’t have a prenuptial agreement in place, which means they will have to split any income or community property acquired during the union.
She also opted to waive spousal support and asked the judge to deny Affleck such support as well, TMZ reported.
Lopez and Affleck, 52, share no children together, so custody will be a non-issue in the divorce. The Oscar winner does, however, share three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner while the “Selena” star has twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
A source told us exclusively that the five children, who were blended during Lopez and Affleck’s marriage, have accepted the divorce.

The duo first sparked breakup rumors in May amid reports that they started going to couples therapy.
A separate source told us at the time that Affleck would “divorce on grounds of temporary insanity” if he could because he finally came “to his senses” following what felt like a “fever dream” of a relationship with Lopez, to whom he was engaged once before before ending it in 2004.
