Even rock stars need their veggies, especially when they’re living with a model 30 years their junior.

On Sunday, Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis took his model girlfriend Helena Verstergaard and son Everly to buy fresh produce at the farmers market in Malibu, California.

The trio looked happy and relaxed as they walked along in the sunshine.

The 51-year-old rocker has every reason to be happy – he has been dating the beautiful 20-year-old Australian since 2012 and they now live together.

And it seems his six-year-old son with his ex, Heather Christie, is also okay with his dad’s choice as he smiled broadly as they walked along.

Anthony was dressed in a white T-shirt with a graphic illustration on the front, teamed with khaki shorts and black shoes. He donned a straw trilby hat and dark glasses to shield his face from the sun.

Lovely Helena looked springlike in a floaty floral dress decorated with white and yellow daisies paired with sensible black ankle boots.

The brunette didn’t need any make-up and her perfect complexion shone naturally on the sunny day.

Everly, who Anthony revealed is named after his favourite singing duo the Everly Brothers, held on fast to his dad’s hand.

He wore a long grey T-shirt over black joggers and scuffed up trainers.

Surprisingly, the Californication singer wore significantly more in mild Malibu than he did in freezing New Jersey where he performed topless with the rest of his band on the Superbowl Half Time show on February 2.
