On a date with her boyfriend on Saturday night, singer Taylor Swift wore a yellow velvet dress, a bag, and snake-print sandals, which are said to have hidden meanings.

According to Page Six, the 34-year-old pop star stood out on the street in a $795 yellow velvet corset and a $795 matching skirt from Annie’s Ibiza. Taylor carried a black Roberto Cavalli bag with a gold chain worth over $1,400 and wore black Versace Medusa Buckle platform sandals worth $1,440.

Fans noticed that Taylor’s bag had a snake embedded in the letter R, a nod to her Reputation era. The sandals also featured the brand’s iconic logo, which is the image of a mythical snake-headed woman.

On TikTok, fans circulated a video analyzing Taylor’s outfit and speculated that Taylor was about to release the album Reputation (Taylor’s Version) – a re-recorded album of Taylor. “Look at the bag!”, “She’s hinting at us!”, “Do you think we’ll get a Reputation announcement?”, fans commented.

Swifties also thought that Taylor’s date outfit color scheme was another hint at Reputation. “Black and gold is very Reputation era,” one fan wrote.

Last summer, Taylor wore an outfit reminiscent of her 1989 album, two months before she released her re-recorded album. So fans are excited to see what new music the singer will release.

Taylor Swift is currently on a break from her Eras Tour. She will begin the final leg of the tour later this month in the US, then head to Canada.
