The ‘Taylor Swift’ guitar destroyed by a man after he paid $4,000 for it was not signed by the singer

The person in Texas who smashed up a guitar with a hammer may have thought it was signed by Taylor Swift, but it wasn’t really a guitar that Swift had signed.

Unknown guy is seen hitting the guitar with a small hammer in a video that has gone viral. He is said to have bought the guitar at a charity auction for $4,000. Since it was shared on X on Sunday night, the video of the guitar being destroyed has been seen more than 22 million times.

In spite of what the news said, the man who destroyed Swift’s guitar had not been signed by the singer and was not an official guitar that she used, a person close to her merchandise company told Variety. The Ellis County WildGame Dinner, which put on the sale, gave the guitar along with a signed CD insert, but the guitar itself wasn’t signed
