Jason Sudeikis asks Travis Kelce when he’s ‘going to make an honest woman’ of Taylor Swift during a big slick skit

On June 1, the actor asked the NFL star the cheeky question while in character during a skit at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend.

Jason Sudeikis wants to know where Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will go next in their romance!On June 1, while in character for a skit at the 15th annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend charity fundraiser in Kansas City, Missouri, the actor, 48, cheekily asked Kelce, 34, if he and Swift, 34, were getting married.

In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Sudeikis, dressed in a fake mustache, sunglasses, and a cap, was joined by actors Robert Smigel and George Wendt, who were also in character, as well as Kelce, as the group sat at a table.

After the Ted Lasso actor and Smigel discussed Kelce’s request for Swift to pay for a new stadium, which the NFL star laughingly said “ain’t happening,” Sudeikis, in character, had a cheeky question for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

“Hey Travis, real talk OK, just the guys here …” He began.

Sudeikis asked Kelce, “Hey … when are you going to make an honest woman out of her?,” referring to Swift.

The audience erupted in applause as Kelce, who was dressed in a print shirt, black pants, and black cap for the event, rubbed his beard and smiled in response to the question, but made no comments.

“Taylor doesn’t need to be working anymore,” Sudeikis said in character. He then added, “I know your kicker agrees with me,” in an apparent reference to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s recent contentious commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic institution. During his speech, Butker spoke out against working wоmen.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs tight end was joined by teammate Patrick Mahomes during the skit, and the charity event was hosted by Paul Rudd, Sudeikis, Fortune Feimster, and Heidi Gardner.

Earlier in the evening, Kelce appeared to be in good spirits as he prepared to join Sudeikis on stage for the skit.

In another video posted on X, the Kansas City Chiefs player said while waiting backstage, “It’s about to get crаzy. This is going to get f—-ing crаzy.” I’m not sure what I’m prepared for right now, but I’m ready to have some fun.”

Kelce and Swift revealed their romance in September 2023, when Swift first attended a Kansas City Chiefs game, followed by the couple holding hands as they left a Saturday Night Live afterparty in October.

While the two have kept their relationship relatively private, Kelce has spoken about Swift in several interviews, and Swift appears to sing about Kelce in a number of songs on her new album, The Tortured Poets Department.
