Adele watches Team USA basketball game with husband Rich Paul in London amidst rumors of her returning to the UK

Adele may be returning to the UK, according to rumors, but it appears she still finds time in her hectic schedule for American hobbies.

On Saturday, during a Team USA basketball game at London’s O2 Arena, the singer was spotted courtside.

The 36-year-old singer and her 42-year-old partner, basketball agent Rich Paul, watched the team’s stunning victory over South Sudan, who had a startling 14-point lead at the half.

Adele, who frequently attends Los Angeles Lakers games in her adoptive city, looked stylish in black pants, sling-back shoes, and an oversized orange shirt.

She is rumoured to be moving back to the UK, but it seems Adele still has some time for American pastimes in her busy schedule

The singer of the song “Someone Like You” has declared that she is taking a musical hiatus, with her Caesar’s Palace residency set to end in November.

Actor Idris Elba was also there for the game. His spouse, Canadian model Sabrina Dhowre, was also present.

Adele’s visit to the UK coincides with rumors that, after her “big break,” she is returning to her native country.

The Grammy winner, who married Rich in secret at the end of the previous year, announced that she had “no plans” to release any new music when her residency ends in November. She will return to Las Vegas in October.

Despite purchasing an opulent new property in the US, it has been reported that the singer intends to return to the UK after her residency expires.

The actress and her partner Rich purchased Sylvester Stallone’s $58 million Beverley Hills estate two years ago, but they have completely demolished it in a major renovation.

Adele moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and claimed she did so to get greater value for her money, but it doesn’t seem like her opulent Beverly Hills property has seen many improvements in the eight years since she moved there.

According to a story published by The Sun earlier this month, Adele’s aide Rose Moon relocated back to the UK a few weeks ago and is already planning the singer’s comeback as well.

“It is all part of a wider return home and once her Las Vegas shows finish in November she has said she will be coming back,” a source revealed when discussing the megastar’s return to London.

Adele is planning to follow Rose, who has already returned to the United Kingdom. Like the football, Adele appears to be returning home.

The insider added that Adele is a “Brit through and through,” which is what motivated her to go back to her roots.

Adele recently revealed to British Vogue that she bought three residences in Beverly Hills to get the most out of her money.

“I could never afford the kind of house I have in Los Angeles if I lived in London.” The Tottenham native said to the publication, “Never.”

Before deciding to go to the United States in 2016, Adele claimed to have “looked at houses” in London.

She remarked, “It’s like hundreds of millions of pounds.” “I don’t really have that much money.” I would pass out.

In January of last year, Adele purchased Sylvester Stallone’s eight-bedroom, twelve-bathroom mansion, saddled with an enormous $37.7 million debt.

Sylvester has previously disclosed that the statue of his Rocky figure from the American sports drama film from 1976—which stands over the enormous outdoor pool—helped seal the deal.

When Adele urged that the stoneware remain on the property, the actor changed his plans to take it with him.

She said, “That’s a no deal,” he told the Wall Street Journal. That will ruin the entire situation.” The statue was what she desired.

In a large restoration project, Adele is currently demolishing the massive mansion and turning it into her own.

The 18,587 square foot home has undergone a thorough renovation, according to photos taken during construction, two years after the celebrity and her husband Rich Paul bought it.

Adele reportedly paid “millions” for the comprehensive list of modifications, which included installing a five-car garage and a fire-resistant roof to the pad. Adele bought the house two years ago, but she hasn’t moved in yet.

While performing live at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in May, Adele revealed to her fans that she hopes to have a daughter. Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki already have an 11-year-old boy named Angelo.

The singer declared, “I want to have a baby once I finish all of my shows and obligations.”

I already have a son, therefore I want a female. I have a feeling that she will end up like the person I love the most in the world, but I also think I detest the most in the world. Isn’t she going to constantly put me in my place?

The Rolling In The Deep singer made a joke about the child becoming a “bossy little queen” as a result of her parents.

“She’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?” she remarked, referring to Rich as her father and me as her mother.

Simon and Adele chose to stay neighbors after their 2019 breakup in order to maintain as much normalcy as possible for their son.

When the topic of their life being split apart came up, she noted at the time, “In the end, I was like, “We’re not going to.” The house across from mine is yours. For Angelo, nothing alters.”

Adele’s final UK performance was in 2022, when she played to a packed house for two nights at the BST in Hyde Park, London.

Adele disclosed a possible reason why she might not want to return to the UK last year.

“I get really bad seasonal depression, so the weather [in LA] is good for me,” she said to The Hollywood Reporter. Because I’m so British, it can be weird at times.

What I love best about Los Angeles is that everyone goes to each other’s houses, even if it’s getting harder for me to go out these days. That’s nice.
