Rihanna Expresses ‘Pride’ Over Exciting New Fenty Beauty Partnership with Paris Olympics and Paralympic Games

Days before the 2024 Paris Olympics officially begin, on Thursday, Rihanna announced one of her most high-profile collaborations to date for her Fenty Beauty business.

The 36-year-old singer-turned-fashion mogul announced that her cosmetics firm had signed an agreement with the Olympic and Paralympic Games on X, the previous Twitter platform, with a hilarious altered image.

Rihanna posted a humorous photoshopped image to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday to announce her cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty had inked a deal with the Olympic and Paralympic Games

I tried to convince yall that we are outside of 2024, she wrote. I am thrilled to declare that @FentyBeauty is an official premium partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games! 😊

She shared a picture of herself and her partner A$AP Rocky holding hands with the Eiffel Tower, which was adorned with the famous Olympic rings, in the background to commemorate the news.

However, Rihanna, who accompanied the rapper to several Paris Fashion Week events in June, swapped out her romantic partner for a huge red Fenty Beauty product tube in the picture.

Perhaps to feed into preconceived notions about France, it also included an illustrated goblet of red wine.

A fan found amusement in comparing the two images, pointing out that Rocky had been left out of the statement. They were both identified in the original picture.

Rihanna undoubtedly spent a lot of time in June attending PFW events in Paris, but it’s unknown if she was in the process of finalizing the terms of the arrangement with the Olympics business team while she was away.

After making its debut in 2017, her Fenty Beauty line quickly gained popularity, with both reviewers and consumers praising it for accommodating a wider range of skin tones than many of its more well-known rivals.

Fenty’s foundation came in an eye-catching forty tones when it first launched, but it has since grown to fifty, making the product especially well-liked by people of color.

Named for its discovered, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, the brand received one of its highest-profile placements to date at the 2023 Super Bowl when Rihanna gave an uncommon solo performance during the halftime show.

She subtly touched up her makeup with her own Fenty cosmetics throughout the event, and in the hours following the broadcast, the brand was said to have made over $5 million in sales.

Forbes announced in 2021 that Rihanna’s business savvy had made her an official billionaire.

Much of her wealth came from Fenty Beauty, which at the time was estimated to be worth $2.8 billion. As a result of astute business dealings, the pop diva was able to acquire half of this, or roughly $1.4 billion.

Rihanna was at her most gorgeous when she visited Paris in June, but this week in New York City, she has been flaunting her street style credentials, especially when she appears with A$AP Rocky.

The 35-year-old rapper and the Work singer are parents to two kids, Riot, who will turn one in August, and RZA, who is two.

Little RZA will be singing on a new song that Rocky announced last week and will be featured on his upcoming fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb, which is set to be released on August 30.
