Star-Studded Celebration: Will Smith, Ed Sheeran, and Russell Crowe Unite with Johnny Depp to Honor Andrea Bocelli’s 30th Anniversary Concert

On Wednesday, Will Smith and a star-studded group of friends and family celebrated the legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli’s 30-year record-breaking career.

The 65-year-old singer was seen catching up with the 55-year-old actor following the star-studded event, which took place at Bocelli’s hometown of Lajatico, Tuscany, Italy. Prior to the celebration, the actor had enjoyed a yacht ride with Johnny Depp.

Will brought his 26-year-old son Jaden Smith along, making it a family event, and he maintained a tender touch on his shoulder.

Smith, 55, was pictured catching up with Bocelli, 65, after the star-studded concert, which was held at Bocelli's hometown of Lajatico, in Tuscany, Italy. He was joined by Ed Sheeran, Russell Crowe and Johnny Depp, all of whom performed that evening

A bearded Russell Crowe, who had performed with the man of the hour earlier in the evening, was leaning over his shoulder and grinning for the cameras.

After their heartfelt performance earlier in the evening, which also honored the actor’s late friend and partner Jeff Beck, Depp visited the group backstage and was heard muttering something inaudible in Andrea’s ear.

A video of Will on stage narrating a segment of the act was posted on Bocelli’s Instagram account. Will also had a significant role in the production.

The actor had a close-cropped beard and was wearing a stylish beige linen suit with a thin matching jumper.

Will stopped over to speak with Michelle Hunziker during their brief encounter on the red carpet.

Depp joined the group backstage and was seen saying something inaudible in Andrea's ear, following their moving performance earlier in the evening, which also served as a tribute to the actor's late friend and collaborator Jeff Beck .

Will also played a major role in the show, and Bocelli's Instagram account shared a clip of him on stage narrating a portion of the show

Ed was dressed as casually as possible in black pants and a basic white T-shirt that highlighted his tattoos. Ed pulled out his customary acoustic guitar to sing a duet with Andrea.

After the show, he looked like he was cooling off with a Guinness.

Russell added even more global celebrity to his own song, a movie version of Leonard Cohen’s beloved ballad Take This Waltz, which fit his deep baritone just right.

The Gladiator actor was sporting his newly grown thick white beard while wearing a black suit and a black shirt without a tie.

There was more Hollywood involvement when Johnny Depp performed a duet with Andrea.

The Pirates of Caribbean star played a crucial part in supporting Bocelli’s beautiful voice.

In addition to honoring the Italian tenor’s career, the show, according to TMZ, paid homage to the late guitarist Jeff Beck, with whom Johnny had performed frequently until his untimely death on January 10, 2023, at the age of 78, from bacterial meningitis.

Johnny Depp accompanied Bocelli on En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor. According to TMZ, they performed the song in 2020 with the late guitarist Jeff Beck, and Beck's lead part from that performance was layered onto the song on Wednesday nightt

He completed the look with chunky black sunglasses with blue lenses, and he wore his dark hair shaggy while sporting a goatee

En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor, a song that Bocelli and Depp supposedly sang in 2020 with Beck on electronic guitar, was being performed.

The audio from the film revealed that Johnny’s acoustic rhythm guitar and the live vocals were accompanied by Beck’s unique and delicate lead guitar notes, which were taken from the 2020 recording.

The Dead Man actor wore a white collarless shirt underneath a black jacket without lapels that he buttoned up almost to his throat.

He wore his dark hair in a scruffy style and had a goatee to complete the ensemble. He accessorized with massive black sunglasses with blue lenses.

The actor had already caught up with Will backstage before the sun set.

The beaming Independence Day star went in to give Johnny a short embrace, saying, “So great to see you, bro.”

Smith met Ed somewhere else prior to the start of the evening’s festivities.

Together with Andrea’s youngest daughter Virginia Bocelli and the renowned tenor Placido Domingo, he and Jaden shared more pictures and a video.
