Ryan Reynolds is upset about the dҽath of Bella Thomson, a 10-year-old TikTok star.

Thomson, whose nickname was “Bella Brave,” died on July 14, less than a week after being put into a medically-induced sleep. Doctors think she had Bronchiolitis Obliterans because she had a lung infҽction. Kim Thomson, Bella’s mother, told her Instagram fans the sad news on July 15: “Bella passed peacefully in our arms.”

Later that same day, Reynolds paid respect to Bella. He had visited her when she was in the hospital last year.

Through his Instagram Stories, Reynolds, 47, wrote, “Bella was so funny and so charming.” I really enjoyed meeting her, and I’m very sad to hear this. She was very funny and didn’t put up with. For example, me. I’m very sorry for her family’s loss and for the staff at [The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada] who took great care of her.

The Deadpool actor, who is married to Blake Lively and has four kids together, became close with Bella after she had an intestinal surgery in December. The video of their meeting on TikTok has been seen more than three million times.

Bella said, “Meh” when Reynolds asked her if she was “scarҽd” or “nervous” about having such an operation.

“Meh,” Reynolds answered. “That way of thinking is good.”

After sharing Bella’s experiences with a number of health conditions, such as severe combined immunodeficiency and Hirschsprung’s disҽase, the couple gained 7 million fans on the video app. Kyla asked her fans to “please keep her name on your lips, her memories alive, and her bravery in your hearts” in her Monday update. “Remember that God is love, be brave, and you’re never too old to bring a stuffy,” she said to end her message on a positive note.
