Ryan Reynolds Talks About His Favorite Taylor Swift Song That Means a Lot to Him

The Taylor Swift song that Ryan Reynolds loves the most is “Betty.”

If you haven’t already seen it, all three of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s kids—Inez, James, and Betty—are in Taylor Swift’s songs. The 47-year-old star has been very helpful to the 34-year-old actress by going to some shows with his family.

In a recent chat with Variety, the Deadpool actor gushed about his favorite song. He did this with his co-star Hugh Jackman and the film’s director, Shawn Levy. The 55-year-old Marvel actor said “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” as Ryan’s favorite song during a fun game of how well they know each other. The 55-year-old director guessed “The one that starts with ‘Gorgeous.'”

Ryan laughed at their answers. Hugh told them, “You sang that in my face.”

The married couple got the idea for their second youngest child’s name from “Betty.” The name of their fourth child has not been released. At her show in Madrid, the pop star herself told the crowd, “I have to say that on Folklore…some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez, and Betty.”

“We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is…”Ryan joked on the Today show earlier this year, “I’ll say this: our wait is still over.”

Ryan calls Taylor a “Prolific writer” because she is always putting out new songs while working on more. The Tortured Poets Department, her most current album, came out in April. At her Eras stop in London, the singer is on the European part of her tour, and her boyfriend Travis Kelce has been there to show his support. He has even danced in the background before one of her songs during the Tortured Poets set.

Her tour has also had help from Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Patrick Mahomes, and Bill Belichick, among others.

She wrote on Instagram about her last show in Amsterdam: “three magical nights in Amsterdam!!” Thanks to everyone who came to those shows, danced all night, and sang their hearts out!

Not only does she have 11 songs, but she also re-records some of them. She always surprises her fans.
