Blake Lively Hilariously Commented on Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Hijinks While Promoting ‘Deadpool

Ryan Reynolds finds that business travels are not at all like the typical person’s—they’re all work and no play. And Blake Lively is definitely berating him for it.

The actor traveled to Asia over the weekend to promote Marvel Universe’s newest mashup film Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman. While in Seoul, they attended the 2024 Waterbomb Festival in South Korea, where they were spotted having fun and, of course, got into a water g𝔲n fiɠht.

Lively insulted her husband’s work ethic with a funny Instagram Story post, jokingly not happy with his pranks. With a video of Reynolds and Jackman dousing each other and the crowd in water, Lively captioned the post, “When he tells you he’s going to work and then you see him on MTV Spring Break.” She then added, “Boys Gone Wild: A Deadpool & Wolverine Story,” as a brilliant new title for the impending movie.

According to Reynolds’ account on Instagram, “I was confused, sca𝔯ed, and pretty daɱn sca𝔯ed when @thehughjackman told me we were going to a Waterboarding Festival.” He is aware of my devotion to #DeadpoolAndWolverine. To promote it, I’ll stop at nothing. As you might guess, I was relieved to find the cutest, most endearing combination of K-pop, water fights, dancing, and joy at the WaterBOMB Festival in Seoul, South Korea.”

He did, however, concur with Lively and acknowledge that he was having far too much fun: “We’re supposed to be working on a movie, but Marvel is paying for us to go on the best vacation ever,” he said. “Over there, someone is definitely going to get fired. Most likely Kevin Feige, the executive of Marvel.”

Reynolds and Jackman will be on display when Deadpool & Wolverine opens in theaters on July 26.
