“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson gets prepared to face his opponent.

After the Tennessee resident started a campaign to see Johnson, the actor formally invited Gabriel “Tater” Singleton, a 7-year-old boy battling stage four neuroblastoma, to visit him on the set of the Baywatch reboot.

“More! You know what, buddy? I’m heading over to say hello! Johnson posted a message on Wednesday on Instagram. On our #BAYWATCH set in Savannah, Georgia, I would like you to be my special guest. Everyone on the set, especially the attractive girls, is eager to meet you!

A handwritten note in Singleton’s first, now-viral Facebook appeal, which was published by the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, gave the sweet little boy’s reason for wanting to meet the 43-year-old.

Singleton’s placard said, “I think you are strong, but I am very strong too.” “I’ve had eight surgeries, hundreds of needle pokes, countless shots, excessive blood and platelet transfusions, a ton of chemotherapy treatments, radiation therapy, tests, scans, and two stem cell transplants.”

“You inspire me with your positive attitude,” the statement went on.

On Wednesday, Johnson replied, “I’m a big, bald-headed LUCKY DUDE to meet you as well,” and that he is “super pumped” to meet Singleton.

The father of two wrote, “Big man, you’re way stronger than I’ll ever be and you better get ready, because I hug like a bear.” “Big dude, I can’t wait to meet you Tater and your family! Remain resilient!”

Singleton was diagnosed with cancer at the age of three, and he is currently undergoing treatment that is targeted at his bone marrow, according to an interview with the local news site WTVC.

The actor said, “PS: Your nickname ‘Tater’ is almost as cool as ‘Rock.'” “It’s actually much cooler.”

Johnson’s family thanked him on Facebook after he sent out the invitation, posting, “Thank you god for this huge blessing.”

Filming on the Zac Efron-starring Baywatch movie started last month.
