The ‘hidden story’ behind C. Ronaldo’s pink shoes

Superstar C. Ronaldo wore pink shoes with the name of teammate Bruno Fernandes’ daughter printed on them in Portugal’s 3-0 win over Turkey on June 22.

In the first half, C. Ronaldo wore green shoes.

However, in the second half, he changed to pink boots. The Sun said that these boots did not belong to C. Ronaldo but were lent by his junior Bruno Fernandes.

The shoes are embroidered with the name Maltide – Bruno Fernandes’ first daughter.

Bruno Fernandes also wore similar pink custom-designed boots. Interestingly, C. Ronaldo then, despite being in a good position to shoot, still passed the ball to Bruno Fernandes to score the goal that sealed a 3-0 victory for Portugal.

The fact that C. Ronaldo had an assist with a strong team spirit shocked many fans because he is known as a superstar who plays individually with a strong desire to score. Many fans believe that the reason why CR7 has not scored any goals at Euro 2024 but still gives Bruno Fernandes the opportunity to score is because of these pink boots.

Bruno Fernandes then hugged his senior to celebrate his first goal at Euro 2024. In the first half, the MU midfielder was criticized for playing selfishly, repeatedly ‘ignoring’ and not passing to C. Ronaldo. The two Portuguese players were teammates at MU for more than a year when CR7 returned to the Old Trafford team in the summer of 2022.

Bruno Fernandes and his first daughter Maltide. He also has a son with his childhood sweetheart Ana Pinho.

By defeating Türkiye 3-0, Portugal secured an early ticket to the round of 16 with 6 points after two matches in Group F. In the final match on June 27, C. Ronaldo and his teammates met Georgia.
