On their 2021 movie, Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds “butted heads” over the wrestler’s tardiness. It’s said that Red Notice… following the 𝔰hocking revelation that The Rock was challenging.
This week, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was accused of being consistently late to the Red Notice set in 2021.
The film studio behind the picture, Amazon MGM, sent out a strong rebuttal in response to the rumors once they became so widespread.
The studio representative told The Wrap that any reporting that suggests that we got to this stage with him turning up seven-eight hours late to set is both preposterous and incorrect. Johnson and [producer] Seven Bucks are ‘great collaborators,’ the representative said.
However, a second report surfaced hours later.
This one stated that Ryan Reynolds, Johnson’s co-star on Red Notice, was irritated by his tardiness.
The 47-year-old Dєad Pool star allegedly “confronted” the 51-year-old WWE pro wrestler for being “repeatedly late to set,” according to insiders who spoke with TMZ on Tuesday.

The 47-year-old Dєad Pool star approached the 51-year-old WWE pro-wrestler champion, who had lately experienced emotional outbursts when visiting a military hospital, because he was “repeatedly late to set,” according to TMZ.
According to TMZ insiders, The Rock’s delay impacted the Red Notice shooting schedule during a difficult period, since production had already become more difficult than usual due to the C𝔒VID-19 outbrєak.
The insider said that although there was no major altercation, Ryan did have a conversation with The Rock and that the actors were able to return to work the next day without any further issues.
The insider also stated that the two celebrities’ relationship is currently cordial, suggesting that any previous issues were handled professionally.
The Rock was the subject of a harsh story published by The Wrap on Tuesday, which included claims that the movie’s budget had to be increased by $50 million as a result of his tardiness.
The action star, whose WWE character goes by the moniker “The Final Boss,” allegedly arrived on set up to eight hours late, forcing the film production to reshoot around him.
One of the most intriguing allegations was that Johnson would frequently urinate into a water bottle on set in order to save time, a practice that the crew found objectionable.
According to a source who is close to the movie actor and whom The Wrap claims to know, he doesn’t use the public restroom when he needs to urinate while on set and away from his trailer.
“His team or a PA has to dispose of it after he urinates in a Voss water bottle.”
There are even allegations that the actor skipped entire days of work, increasing the production expense by eight figures, in addition to being late an average of seven or eight hours each day.
