On the American Idol set on Sunday, Katy Perry had a little fun by playfully poking fun at Gene Simmons, the legendary member of KISS.

The 39-year-old vocalist of Fireworks, who previously showed off her sly ensemble while at Coachella, posed with the rock star on Sunday’s episode when the competitors sang songs by Rock & Roll Hall of Fаme honorees.

The official names for the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fаme, which included Dave Matthews Band, Mary J. Blige, and Cher, were also revealed on the special night.

Perry was spotted beamingly posing alongside the 74-year-old guest mentor Simmons as they stopped for many photos against a bright blue backdrop.

The mother-of-one looked stunning in a turquoise figure-hugging dress made of a glittering material. She accessorized her elbows with a lovely matching scarf.

Her brown hair, parted in the center, fell past her shoulders in soft waves with ease.

Katy’s makeup for the evening was drаmаtic and included a smokey shadow around her eyes and a coat of mascara on her lashes.

She applied a subtle blush to her cheeks and a satin tint in the hue of nuԀe on her lips as a finishing touch.

In order to make her gown the major attraction, she wore a pair of statement silver earrings and kept her other accessories simple.

Famous for being the bassist and co-lead singer for the rock group KISS, Gene looked dapper in a traditional black suit and a white shirt with the collar slightly undone.

In addition to wearing a pair of chic brown shades, the singer carried a handkerchief in the suit jacket’s left pocket.

Over the years, Gene has become well-known for his characteristic move while performing live with KISS.
