After renting the same house the previous year, superstar Rihanna has forked out $22 million on a beachfront home on the Caribbean island of Barbados.
On the island where she was born and reared, the singer, 25, has purchased a property at the opulent One Sandy Lane resort.
Every Christmas, Rihanna travels back to her native Barbados. According to MailOnline, this year, she hired the same five-bedroom condo and invited her mother Monica Braithwaite and younger brother Rajad to join her.
She ultimately stayed at a different island villa, but she didn’t stop loving One Sandy Lane.
Said to be worth $90 million, the actor bought the 10,000-square-foot pad next to the well-known, five-star Sandy Lane Hotel.
After all, it had cost $21.8 million to buy.
A source informed Page Six, “Rihanna bought the house after renting it for her family last year.”
The luxurious complex, which is only a short stroll from the beach, consists of just eight 10,000-square foot residences, each with five en suite bedrooms that come with own balconies and dressing rooms.
After receiving $2 million to play at a party thrown by Michael Tabor, the owner of the facility, Rihanna already has a relationship with him through his son Ashley Tabor, the British CEO of Global Radio.
Thrоugh prоperty investing, hоrse breeding, and bооkmaking, Michael accumulated a fоrtune. He alsо cоntributed tо financing the $1 billiоn acquisitiоn оf GCap Media and Chrysalis Radiо, which tоgether fоrmed Glоbal’s brоadcasting empire.
According to sources, Rihanna now intends to visit Barbados more frequently. They will all spend the holidays together at Rihanna’s new house, but earlier this year, the singer surprised her mother with a five-bedroom mansion in Barbados.
The management of One Sandy Lane claims to operate as a boutique hotel. A 34-person private staff, including gardeners and security personnel, maintains impeccable conditions even when no one is staying there.
Because the security system uses biometrics, residents can move throughout the building without the need for a traditional key, but visitors will be immediately identified.
Although common features like underground parking and private elevators are ideal for Rihanna.
All of this is very different from Rihanna’s island upbringing. She was candid about her childhood in 2007 and stated that she was able to achieve her dreams because of a fortuitous encounter with producer Evan Rogers when she was just 15 years old.
