JAY-Z SPOTTED WEARING RARE PLATINUM PATEK PHILIPPE DURING LUNCH WITH DJ KHALED

DJ Khaled recently posted pictures from his meeting with Jay-Z at Roc Nation to social media, showing off an opulent and uncommon watch on Jay’s wrist. The two had a meeting over cigars and seafood, and Jay-Z was wearing what looked to be a highly sought-after white-gold Patek Philippe Ref. 5004 watch.

A number of pictures from the encounter were posted by Khaled, including close-ups of Jay-Z’s gorgeous Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph, which has a black display, a silvery metal bracelet, and apertures for the day of the week, month, and moon phases. Although the Ref. 5004 is believed to start at $200,000, Jay’s watch most likely cost more because of the platinum band. Although Khaled did not specifically name the watch, it seems similar to the Patek Philippe Ref. 5004 P-035 that was displayed on Antiquorum and sold for more than $415,000 in 2012.

Jay-Z is renowned for having an amazing collection of high-end timepieces, one of which is a 1-in-4 Patek Philippe 2499 that he just shared on Instagram. This watch has spherical chronograph pushers that resemble those on his watch from the Khaled post, integrated 18-karat yellow gold bracelet, and “Dauphine” gold hands. The Tiffany Blue Nautilus 5711, a rose-gold Nautilus Chronograph, a Grandmaster Chime, and a Sky Moon Celestial are among the additional pieces in Jay-Z’s Patek Philippe collection. Jay-Z has an impressive collection of luxury timepieces, demonstrating his actual expertise in the field.
