Two ‘promising next generation’ football players from Crystal Palace and Reading have joined Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, expanding its pool of young potential.

Jay-Z’s talent agency, Roc Nation, is expanding its roster with the addition of “two of the most exciting next gen” football players: Jacob Neptune and Samuel Lusale.
The organization is home to a number of well-known athletes, such as Kevin De Bruyne and Vinicius Jr. Along with performers Alicia Keys and Rihanna, the club also signed rugby players Ellis Genge, Mare Itoje, and Siya Kolisi.
16-year-old Neptune is a central defender for Reading right now, and 16-year-old Lusale is a winger for Crystal Palace.
According to Roc Nation, the two athletes have “immense potential” and are “two of the most exciting next-generation talents of their age-level.”
Nathan Campbell, global director of football recruitment, called it a promising development for the young players.

Crystal Palace winger Samuel Lusale, 16, has signed with talent agency Roc Nation
The 16-year-old Jacob Neptune of Reading FC also signed with Jay-Z’s agency, which represents a number of well-known football players.
“We look for Roc Nation DNA in young players, and both players fit that description,” he said. ”

Both of the gifted teenagers are playing at a very high level right now, but they still have a ton of unrealized potential, which will surely aid them when they move up to the first team.
Jacob emphasizes defense, which is uncommon in today’s young players, and he has excellent ball control and playmaking skills from the back.
There is little doubt that he will continue to get better as his tactical development continues.
Samuel is an extremely talented attacking player who is highly fascinating to watch.
“He entered the academy system later than most, so he’s a late developer, but it’s exciting to think about the incredible heights he can reach as he matures both physically and technically.”

His recent form has seen him receive a call up for Slovakia and has scored a goal and an assist to help the national side qualify for the U17 Euros.
