After Chelsea’s FA Cup victory over Leicester City, Mauricio Pochettino addressed the controversy surrounding Cole Palmer’s decision to let Raheem Sterling take the penalty.

Marc Cucurella gave Chelsea the lead early at Stamford Bridge, and they had a penalty opportunity to extend it.

Having briefly exchanged passes with Sterling, Palmer threw the ball on to the England striker. Palmer has scored all five of his penalty goals since joining Chelsea from Manchester City last summer.

Unfortunately for Sterling, Leicester’s goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk saved his shot.
