Earlier this year, Lukaku became a member of Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports talent stable.
The sports management arm of Jay-Z’s entertainment firm, Roc Nation, is called Roc Nation Sports.
The Sports department was established in 2013 with the stated goal of assisting players with their careers both on and off the field.
Roc Nation Sports assists its clients in developing “brand strategy,” media relations, and commercial arrangements.
Notable patrons consist of:
Romelu Lukaku, Jerome Boateng, Saquon Barkley, Dez Bryant, Todd Gurley, and Kevin Durant
‘Until we chat, man, see you soon,’ Jay-Z remarked at the encounter.
Earlier this year, Lukaku became the first player from the Premier League to sign with Jay-Z’s management company, Roc Nation Sports. He joined NFL, MLB, and NBA players like Kevin Durant, Todd Gurley, and Saquon Barkley, as well as Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng.
The entertainment organization Roc Nation was the forerunner of the talent stable before it ventured into the sports industry in 2013.
After helping Belgium finish third at the World Cup in Russia and finishing in a five-way tie for second place in the Golden Boot standings, Lukaku went on vacation.
He was originally scheduled to miss United’s 2018–19 Premier League season opener against Leicester at Old Trafford on August 10, but he and Phil Jones, both of England, decided to take a three-day vacation early to support the club.
The Belgium striker also had a conversation with another Roc Nation member, DJ Khaled.
“These are the players we have plus (Victor) Lindelof, who started training two days ago, Marcus Rashford, Phil Jones, and Lukaku because they gave the group and the team three days of their holidays,” Jose Mourinho stated earlier this week in Miami. “We start the Premier League in nine days,” the manager stated.
“They are returning three days ahead of schedule in an attempt to be available for the team.” And because of the incredible spirit that most of the players possess—I emphasize that most of the players possess an incredible spirit—we give the Premier League our all.
