During a Monday interview with Access Hollywood at the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party in Los Angeles, the pop queen talked candidly about witnessing her rapper boyfriend become a father. Riot Rose, four months old, and RZA Athelston Mayers, one, are the sons of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky (actual name: Rakim Athelaston Mayers).

The singer of “Lift Me Up” claimed that being a mother had surpassed all of her dreams.

“You’re lacking a concept. You simply have to hope,” Rihanna said to Scott Evans of Access Hollywood. “One day, I wish to become a parent, and I hope to do it with love. Additionally, I aspire to be a part of a family that lifts the curse of generation to generation, just pushes on, tries new things, and raises our children better than we were raised.”

Rihanna continued, praising A$AP Rocky for being a good father and gushing about his interactions with his kids.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are reportedly expecting their first child together

As a father, I loved him in a new way. This is huge, huge, like, a tremendous turn on,” declared Rihanna. “All I can say is, ‘Wow! What a mastermind. What an amazing, kind, and patient father. My children have an obsession with him. I am merely an extra, sort of like a background. Yes, that does occur. Whether there are boys or girls doesn’t matter. I adore seeing how differently they love their dad.”

When Rihanna performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in February, she disclosed that she was expecting her second child, Riot Rose. The “Love on the Brain” singer did, however, quip that one of her life goals is still to become a girl mother.

When asked what she doesn’t have in her life, Rihanna said, “So far, have daughters,” to E! News during the Fenty x Puma event. “Next time, I’ll bat at 75% for a boy. We’ll just cross our fingers, then.”
