Pets and nature in general are clearly things that Havertz appreciates. The German celebrity loves nothing more than spending his spare time embraced by his many pets, including a donkey, which may come as a surprise to some.

Havertz appears to only ever post about his dog, Baloo. The animal-loving celebrity claimed he took the puppy in as his own when he arrived in the UK.

Havertz stated, “We decided when we came here we need a garden and a dog,” in an interview with ChelseaTV’s Extra Time.

For a while, it seemed obvious, but my previous apartment in Germany lacked a garden and the necessary space to accommodate a dog.

The 22-year-old German appears to be quite modest, as he values the simpler things in life, in contrast to other players who display a more luxurious lifestyle on social media.

Havertz has joined the effort to give monies to provide some relief to people of his community who were affected by the heavy floods that occurred in areas of Germany and Belgium lately; the floods also struck his hometown Aachen.
