Ten years later, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively recreate their first date.

Ryan Reynolds joked, “Our favorite restaurant with her fourth favorite date,” when he and wife Blake Lively went back to the eatery where they went on their first date a decade ago.

After ten years of dating, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are still going strong.

The pair enjoyed a romantic evening at the Boston sushi restaurant O Ya, where their love story started, on Saturday to commemorate the tenth anniversary of their first date.

“If not for this location. There would be no us together. No joke,” the 33-year-old Lively stated on her Instagram Story. “No restaurant means more to us.”

Additionally, Reynolds, 44, posted a selfie of the pair outside the eatery. Continuing their lighthearted trolling, which seems to be their love language, he captioned the photo, “Our favorite restaurant with her fourth favorite date.”

Later, the Free Guy actor shared a larger crop of the image on social media, this time with a disclaimer obscuring his face. “Posting this again because I cut out my wife’s cute earrings,” he replied in response. “This is not how she trained me. If I let anyone down, I apologize. Posting his response to her story, Lively said, “That’s right.”

After that, Lively posted a picture of their entire date night ensemble. She flaunted her leg in a black polka-dot white button-down sundress, accessorizing with gold hoops earrings and black sandals. Wearing a tweed driving helmet, gray pants, tan sneakers, and a blue button-down shirt with red arrow embroidery, Reynolds looked dapper.

“After ten years. We still take our ‘first date,'” the former Gossip Girl wrote. “But in much more comfortable shoes.” Before she published a picture of them holding hands over the menu while she gushed about the cuisine, they also posed for a picture with the crew in the kitchen.

When Reynolds and Lively costarred as love leads in Green Lantern in 2010, they first became acquainted. A year later, they started dating, and in September 2012, they were married. The three daughters of the couple are Betty, age 21 months, Inez, age 4, and James, age 6.

On the SmartLess podcast, the Deadpool star recently recapped their first date. “I met Blake on the darkest crease in the anus of the universe called Green Lantern,” Reynolds said. “We were friends and buddies and about a year and a half later we went on a double date but we were dating separate people.”

Before they started dating, he continued, they “hung out” and “always kind of kept in touch, but casually.” “Then, as she and I were both heading to Boston, I said, ‘Well, I’ll ride with you.'” We boarded the train together and traveled,” Reynolds said. “I was just begging her to sleep with me.”

They quickly started dating, and Reynolds remarked that their instant connection was “like out of a fairytale”. “A week later I was like, ‘We should buy a house together,'” he recounted. “And we did.”
