A report from the Italian website Calcio Mercato says that Roma can buy Lukaku from Chelsea for £37 million at the end of the loan deal. However, it is thought that Chelsea may be willing to accept less than that amount for the player’s permanent transfer.Additionally, the story says that I Giallorossi could negotiate with Chelsea and possibly sign Lukaku for as little as £30m next summer.

According to reports, Lukaku has never been in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, and Chelsea is eager to get rid of him for good.

The Belgium international’s huge weekly salary of £300,000 at Chelsea, on the other hand, has made it very hard to sell him over the past few years.

The forward agreed to a 37.5% pay cut in order to join Roma, but it’s possible that more cuts will be needed for the deal to go through.

This brings up a personal issue, though, because Lukaku is happy in Rome and his family wants him to stay in Italy. This suggests a preference that could change the final result.Still, even if Roma were able to make a deal, they might not be able to go through with it because the player’s signing fee and pay could add up to £51m.

So, Roma’s desire to sign Lukaku to a long-term deal is closely linked to their desire to make it to the Champions League.

While this was going on, several Saudi teams were also interested in Lukaku. They would have no trouble meeting Chelsea’s price request or the striker’s salary demands.

Roma is currently in fifth place in Serie A, three points behind fourth-placed Bologna. In the Premier League, Chelsea is in eleventh place, fourteen points behind the top five teams.
