Pastries Abound on Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ Wedding Day

For those anxiously anticipating a peek at Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on their ultra-s𝔢cr𝔢t wedding day, it’s better late than never.

And we really do mean glimpse; the couple’s only image that was shared on Martha Stewart Weddings Thursday features a stunning picture of them holding hands. Lively, 25, sported a custom leather suspender-adorned Burberry suit, while her 36-year-old husband wore a couture Marchesa ball gown.

“They desired a private and elegant celebration. The first slide of the pastry-heavy gallery promoting the winter 2013 issue of MSW says, “And while they remain protective of images of them on their most heartfelt occasion, they graciously let us share pictures of the elements we created together.”

Lively’s self-described “idol,” Stewart, participated in some of the wedding planning.

When the pair married in a family-friendly wedding just outside of Charleston, South Carolina, in September, Stewart’s magazine said, “From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration.”

After their unexp𝔢ct𝔢d marriage, the couple traveled to Little Washington, Virginia, for a brief honeymoon.
