The 30-year-old singer shared two images of herself with her parents. Rihanna leans against her father Ronald Fenty in the first picture. Her mother Monica Braithwaite is positioned in the middle of them in the second.

Wearing a purple shirt, Rihanna strikes a fresh-faced look in the photos. Her dad is dressed in a t-shirt, and her mother is wearing a striped blouse.

The first photo was captioned by Rihanna with a heart and a father-daughter emoji. She wrote the word “home” next to the second photo.

On her 30th birthday in February, Rihanna thanked her mother on Instagram. “10958 days ago, @monica_fenty gave birth to her only daughter for the first time!” she posted. It’s your birthday today as much as it is mine! Mom, you are loved! I’m grateful to you for bearing me, giving birth to me, raising me, helping me, teaching me, and showing me unwavering love! Everything that you are has made me the lady I am today!

“I thank God that when He sent my spirit to you, He carefully chose you to be my mother,” she continued. You are the best of everything! I’m grateful.

This summer, Rihanna has been really busy. She celebrated her hairstylist’s birthday earlier this month by lounging on the beach in a swimsuit and skipping the MTV Video Music Awards to spend time in Havana, Cuba. Next, she’ll be seen wearing an ornate floral crown on the September cover of British Vogue.
