Though Musiala lacks Kevin de Bruyne’s playmaking and direct passing abilities, he is a versatile player who can play either as an inside forward or as a number ten. He could also play wide left, a position that is currently being contested, in the hybrid forward/midfielder role that Julian Álvarez employs.
