Rick Ross has conquered the rap game, and now he is setting his eyes on the skies with hopes of becoming one of the richest people in the world.

The “Ashton Martin Music” rapper just copped a new whip that he flexed while appearing on the latest installment of the “Robb Report,” as cited by Hip Hop DX. In the three-and-a-half-minute episode, Rozay gives fans a tour of the aircraft’s interior while explaining the significance of his investment. For him, it’s all about going to the top.

While it’s clear this purchase came with a few commas, Rick Ross admits he didn’t overspend.

“I stayed within my budget, I did, just like a boss, as a boss should,” he said while sitting in a seat on the aircraft and flashing a smile.

“My budget was nice. Imma keep it real. We had to have it. We ain’t cut no corners.”

The Grammy winner’s flying bird is outfitted in black with his name written in bold gold font across the center of the plane’s exterior. The rapper’s music label that he founded –Maybach Music Group’s– logo is also displayed near the plane’s rear wing.

The beige and tan interior of the plane is laid out in a “Rozay vibe” that features hints of his favorite color, red, off-white leather seats, exquisite woodwork, custom sewn Louis Vuitton throw blankets, and new technology.

He also says the plane can accommodate an impeccable dining experience with three to four meals on a flight.

He said, “It’s a beautiful thing.”

Ross has been putting effort into this buy for about a year.

“I started the jet purchase process a little under a year ago. I looked at several planes for maybe six months, learning about the little things—this, that, you know, all the little details—and I knew I needed this G550,” the man stated.

Even though Rozay owns an opulent collection of cars, this one has a more specific function.

“I just considered one thing when deciding to buy my jet, the G550: I wanted to triple my wealth in the end. That was ultimately the plan when I had a conversation with some of my business partners, some guys who are my peers.”

“It was definitely based on my ability to accomplish more in a different format—something that was much easier on myself,” he went on. You know, time simply has greater value and greater importance for me. That was the central idea of it all.
