One of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, seem to have a perfectly-balanced relationship—particularly when they take turns lovingly roasting each other on social media. The pair began dating in 2011 and were married about a year later. That might seem fast, but they’d been friends for a while and could simply no longer deny the chemistry between them.
More than a decade later, Lively and Reynolds remain happily married and share three daughters—James, Inez, and Betty—and their fourth baby, whose name and gender haven’t been shared yet.

Work brought Lively and Reynolds together. They starred in Green Lantern but didn’t date. Both were in other relationships. Reynolds married Scarlett Johansson, a potential superhero, while Lively dated Penn Badgley, her Gossip Girl co-star. They first appeared together at Comic-Con in San Diego in 2010, before the film launched.

A red carpet premiere of Green Lantern took place in Hollywood on June 15, 2011, and Lively and Reynolds were both present to walk it. September 2012On September 9, 2012, Lively and Reynolds tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by those closest to them, including friends and family. Reynolds wore a classic Burberry suit, while the bride wore a couture gown designed by Marchesa. The fashion designer was Marchesa.
According to a source who spoke to People, “When Ryan first saw her, his face broke into a huge smile that crinkled his eyes at the same time.” All they did was look at each other with complete and utter affection. She did, however, acknowledge that Reynolds has had some influence on her.
