SPLASHNEWS.COM photoFrom a A$AP Rocky perspective, he and Rihanna have already finished their greatest joint project, whether it be musical or not. The 35-year-old rapper and the 35-year-old singer of “Umbrella” were in Las Vegas over the weekend for the Formula 1 Grand Prix. He wasn’t entirely thinking business when Complex asked him if he would ever contemplate working with Rihanna on a project at Puma, where they both serve as creative directors for different brands. What could we get together on and just f—ing smash and get really wild about? After giving the topic some thought, Rocky said, “I think we do a real great job at collaborating and making children.”Regarding the two boys, Riot Rose, who is a newborn, and RZA, who is 18 months old, he remarked, “I think that’s our best creation so far.” “That is the best there is.”Rocky then acknowledged the third member of his and the Fenty founder’s family of four, referring to him as “a ghost designer named God” who, in his words, “shaped everything.” The “Sundress” artist continued, “And we have these beautiful angels, so that’s the best collaboration.” In their first family portraits, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are pictured with their sons, RZA and Riot.Rocky made these remarks after he and Rihanna went out on Saturday in Las Vegas together. David Beckham, Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, and other A-list celebrities were also in the city for the Grand Prix. Less than a month after Rocky was appointed creative director of the athletic brand’s new association with Formula One, the couple also made an unexpected appearance at the unveiling of the new Puma x F1 collection. Rocky will be designing “bespoke capsules” as part of his position for Puma, which states on their website that the line will “focus on the intersection of the sport and streetwear.”

Since the beginning of the Fenty x Puma partnership in 2014, Rihanna has had a lengthy association with the brand. Later, she assumed leadership of the company as its creative director, launching her career in the fashion industry with a line of incredibly sought-after shoes that included the recognizable fluffy slides. She also participated in other New York Fashion Week presentations to showcase her talent.

In 2017, she debuted her final collection with the company, which featured a variety of distinctive athleisure and schoolwear fusion styles.

She debuted Fenty Beauty in the same year, releasing a record-breaking 40 foundation hues, more than any of her rivals. Since its debut, the makeup company has dominated the beauty and skincare market. However, as she revealed earlier this year, the singer of the song “Lift Me Up” is going back to her origins at Puma.

In March, the brand teased Rihanna’s comeback with a mysterious message that said, “She’s back,” over an entirely black screen and featured the Fenty brand emblem.

September marked her return to Puma with the release of a brand-new sneaker style that she named the Avanti. The $160 sneaker is a cross between the Easy Rider running shoe and the King football boot from Puma. Following the release, Rihanna stated to Footwear News, “I wanted to pay homage to that because football is a universal language that brings people together from all over the world, all walks of life.”

Regarding its design approach, she revealed to Vogue that she drew inspiration from Puma’s “amazing” historical records.”I wanted to celebrate the rich history and tradition of this place by paying tribute to the Avanti. I know people are eager to see [The King], the shoes that [Brazilian football player] Pelé wore and made incredibly famous.

She said that including children’s sizes in the collection—which debuted on September 15—was a self-serving decision. “This time, we decided to include children in our creations because, selfishly, I want my boys to look good in everything their dad and I wear or make.”
