Celebrity Vin Diesel has disclosed that he gave his son the automobile from the Toretto garage as a birthday present. Diesel is getting ready for the premiere of his next movie, “Fast X.” He added that the theme of the movie is “family.”
This time, though, the movie will incorporate themes of survival and parenthood.
Regarding the development of the “Fast and the Furious” franchise, the actor stated to IANS, “Family is family, whether it be through blood or a bond.” We were examining the ideas of brotherhood, cherishing, and enjoying family in the early years of our company. Next, we were going to talk about fatherhood as the mythology naturally developed. You can see a portrayal of this parenting style in Fast X, where survival is paramount. It’s something that all mothers and fathers worldwide can relate to.
He further disclosed that, despite the fact that his kid is still learning to drive, he gave him the automobile from the Toretto garage for his birthday. He said, “The movie portrays the desire for the next generation to outperform the previous one—that is, for our kids to outperform us. The multigenerational nature of this business, of which I am so fortunate to be a part, is what makes it so wonderful. In this movie, one of the things I’m most pleased of is that the automobile in the most iconic garage ever—the Toretto garage—is the same car I bought my son for his eleventh birthday. Life does, after all, sometimes imitate art, and art imitates life.
He can’t drive yet, of course, but all he wanted for his birthday was a project car that he and his father could work on. That’s just what Dom and Little Brian, his son, are doing in this film. Additionally, he continued, “Dom says something to Han about the role of fatherhood that touches everyone and is, I believe, one of those things that fathers and sons will be talking about on their way home from the theater.”
He told IANS, “We’re excited to introduce new characters to the franchise,” in reference to the introduction of new characters to the franchise. Jason Momoa portrays Dante Reyes, one of them. You all know him, but you will always remember the way he plays Dante. Allowing artists to develop their characters in distinctive ways is something we take great pride in, and Jason Momoa’s portrayal of this figure fits in beautifully with the narrative.
“So, we’re very excited for you to be introduced to him,” he continued. We needed someone you consider a worthy and formidable opponent on the surface. Playing a character that hides so obvious pain and has such a terrifying way of thinking is unsettling. Jason accomplished that, which is why Dante is so amusing.
Additionally, he mentioned Rita Moreno’s role as “Abuela Toretto” in the most recent installment, saying, “The Fast and the Furious” has been fortunate to have the largest Latin fanbase of any franchise. Although we have the support of the entire world, our Latin audience has always been quite unique. As an actor growing up in New York City, I was a big fan of Rita Moreno, the first female Latin Oscar winner. It occurred to me that we had never collaborated and that it would be a childhood dream to work with her when I first met her a few years ago while we were both receiving Icon Awards.
And although I’m not sure if I approached her or if she approached me first, the idea spread very fast, and we were quite fortunate! But what role could one with such a legendary, royal, and extraordinary talent inhabit? As it happens, we are portraying her as the grandmother, or Abuelita, who holds a prominent position in the household. For me, it’s a dream come true,” he said in closing.
On May 18, “Fast X” will open in theaters in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English, and several IMAX 3D, 3D, 4DX, and 2D formats.
