Once more, Anne Hathaway is moving! The Oscar winner is currently selling her Upper West Side penthouse after purchasing an Upper West Side pad in 2016 and selling her Dumbo property in 2014. 18 West 74th Street is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom property that was recently listed for $3.495 million. The actress and her husband, Adam Shulman, are expected to earn handsomely from the sale as they paid $2.55 million for it.
Is Anne Hathaway Making Room for Baby No. 2?
Jonathan was born in Brooklyn, and Hathaway became a mother in March 2016. The 37-year-old made the announcement that she and Shulman were expecting their second child together on Instagram in July. The family, which included an infant, was seen in a Connecticut park in December, however no formal announcement has been made. With just two bedrooms, it’s probable that the Hathaway-Shulman family needs extra room to accommodate their new little one.

The communal section of the apartment is designed to host guests, including an open layout that seamlessly opens to a stunning terrace complete with a sitting area and a separate outdoor dining area. Inside, the dining area boasts 18-foot ceilings with a skylight, while the living room has a comfortable ethanol fireplace. All of this is accessible through a sophisticated foyer that is unlocked with a private key.

About the Building
While Hathaway is certainly not the only celebrity who has called the Upper West Side home, she did choose a unique building. 18 West 74th Street, a historic Neo-Georgian structure, was one of the last private homes constructed in the neighborhood. Built in 1902, the five-story co-op features just five units, each one its own floor, and it still sports its original sweeping staircase and intimate elevator. The listing agent for this penthouse home is Jeremy Stein of Sotheby’s International Realty.
