Ryan Reynolds goes to work with Hugh Jackman wearing a red suit and Deadpool makeup

The actors were seen filming the last scenes for “Deadpool 3” — released this summer — in England on Jan. 22

Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool with fake limbs!

The 47-year-old actor was seen on the set of Deadpool 3 on January 22 with co-star Hugh Jackman, wearing the character’s famous scarred face. They were there for the last few days of shooting the highly anticipated movie, which will come out this summer.

Reynolds wore Deadpool’s red suit to the event as well, and Jackman, 55, wore Wolverine’s yellow suit while filming in the south of England.

Wade Wilson, played by Reynolds, tried an experimental ¢αи¢єя treatment in the first movie in the series, which is what gave Deadpool his scars. He became a superhero after the risky and painful treatment, but it left him scarred all over.

It was finished last week by Reynolds and Jackman. Deadpool 3 is set to come out on July 26.

Reynolds shared an emotional message along with a naughty close-up picture of his crotch in his Deadpool outfit on Instagram to remember the event.

“The suit covers up вℓσσ∂.” Besides sweating… “Today, though, with Deadpool wrapping up, it’s mostly tears,” the actor wrote in the caption at the time. “A huge thank you to the cast and crew of our movie, who worked hard despite wind, rain, strikes, and @thehughjackman… all while being led by the steadfast @slevydirect.”

In October 2022, Jackman said ahead of filming the third Deadpool sequel with Reynolds that he’ll “probably have more fun on this movie than any other I’ve ever done.”Jackman told PEOPLE at the time, “I think being on set with [Ryan] every day and those two on film in every city together everyday … I think it’s fair to say they’ll be punching the s— out of each other the whole time.”
