‘What did she do to her face?’ Maria Shriver looked noticeably different without makeup

Maria Shriver, 66, astounds admirers by appearing strikingly different without makeup when she walks out in Los Angeles: How did she injure her face?

When Maria Shriver was seen taking a stroll in the sun this week in Los Angeles, she didn’t appear quite as makeup-free.

The 66-year-old former First Lady of California, who was once married to Arnold Schwarzenegger and is a Kennedy family scion, exuded happiness as she walked down the street.

However, her new looks set up a significant reaction from her fans, who took to social media to express their dismay at her appearance.

“What facial injury did Maria Shriver sustain?” ‘Horrifying,’ commented one Twitter user, while another expressed shock that’someone had to Photoshop that photo.’

In the open:When Maria Shriver was observed taking a stroll in the sun this week in Los Angeles, she appeared considerably different and didn’t wear makeup.

Maria wore figure-hugging black leggings and a lilac T-shirt, giving her a laid-back look for the occasion. She carried her phone in a pouch and accessorized her ensemble with a brown cross-body bag.

In 1986, Maria, whose maternal uncle was John F. Kennedy, wed Arnold Schwarzenegger in Hyannis, Massachusetts, a Kennedy hotspot.

The next year, Maria returned the favor by becoming Caroline’s matron of honor. Caroline is the daughter of John F. Kennedy.

Katherine, 32, Christina, 31, Patrick, 28, and Christopher, 24 were the four children that Arnie and Maria welcomed into their family during their marriage.

After the journalist filed for divorce on July 1, 2011, due to allegations that he had fathered a kid, Joseph Baena, with their housekeeper Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena, Arnold and Maria famously stayed apart for years.

Although Maria and Arnold both dated other individuals in the interim, the divorce was not formalized until last year.

The ‘lack of motivation’ and the intricate property settlement arrangement caused the divorce to languish for ten years; his empire included several investment properties, a mansion in Brentwood, and a vacation home in Idaho.

According to The Blast, the pair, who were married in 1986 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Hyannis, Massachusetts, had a reported net worth of over $400 million, but they were forced to split it in half because they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement.

The actor has openly discussed his ventures into real estate, having previously disclosed that he made his first million dollars from real estate rather than acting. “I didn’t rely on my movie career to make a living,” he declared.

Beaming: She seemed in good spirits as she made the most of  the warm weather on a stroll around the neighbourhood

Casual: Maria cut a casual figure on the outing as she paired a lilac T-shirt with figure-hugging black leggings. She added to the look with a brown cross body bag and carried her phone in a pouch

Happier times: In 1986, in the Kennedy hotspot of Hyannis, Massachusetts, Maria, whose maternal uncle was John F. Kennedy, wed Arnold Schwarzenegger. Their 2011 separation was finalized with their divorce last year.

He still owns a number of property holding businesses, most of which are focused on Venice Beach real estate. He owns interests in a complex of upscale residences, office buildings, and other real estate.

The couple is said to have divided the real estate business. In the end, the ex-couples managed to split their wealth fairly evenly in half, although The Blast reports that the precise settlement is still unknown.

On October 2, 1997, Joseph was born, just a few days after Maria gave birth to Christopher, the couple’s fourth child. However, it wasn’t until May 2011 that the identity of the housekeeper’s child was made public.

It wasn’t until seven or eight years after Joseph’s birth that the Terminator actor realized he was his son.

In a 2017 interview with OBJECTified, the former governor responded, “I do not need any time to reflect, when I know it was a major, major screw up,” in response to a question on Maria’s divorce file and how he had had time to think about it.

According to reports, Maria had an affair with political analyst Matthew Dowd, who served as Arnie’s strategist in his bid to win reelection as governor of California.

Arnold, meanwhile, has been seeing Heather Milligan, a blonde physical therapist who is 47 years old and more than 25 years his junior, for many years.

Despite everything, Arnold and Maria still get along well, spending happy times together with their kids on special occasions like Arnie’s birthday.

In the past, Shriver has been vocal about the idea of aging, studying the idea while maintaining an optimistic outlook and conversing with numerous authorities on the subject.

She is hosting an online summit in October called “Radically Reframing Aging,” in which celebrities like Goldie Hawn, Martha Stewart, Paulina Porizkova, Vanessa Williams, Jamie Lee Curtis, and others will be contributing.

Keeping busy: While Maria was spotted leaving, Arnold was in Toronto developing his Netflix series Utap, which is based on his critically acclaimed action/comedy True Lies, which he starred in with Jamie Lee Curtis in 1994.

In an advertisement for the summit, the journalist and author who was born in Chicago stated, “Aging doesn’t have to mean surrendering your passions or your abilities.” “At any age, you can cultivate a life that is engaged, healthy, and full of joy and purpose.”

Shriver claimed earlier this year in an article for Oprah Daily that her 66th birthday in November was the first since her 20s that she had celebrated ‘with delight and hopefulness for what was to come rather than a sense of loss of my youth.’

“I’ve been thinking a lot about loss lately,” she continued. We are all lamenting the loss of loved ones brought on by the epidemic in large numbers. Perhaps you’re lamenting the end of life as you knew it before Covid, or you’re missing how simple it was to travel, go out to dinner, or see a Broadway musical.

Right now, a lot of us are grieving for our nation, which seems more divided than ever. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s best for me to become more at ease with my grief.

Speaking on her official removal of the term “anti-aging” from her vocabulary, Shriver stated in the article that she was “pro-aging.”

Making it work: Maria and Arnold have managed to maintain a cordial relationship, spending time together with their kids on special occasions like Arnie’s birthday.

She went on: “There needs to be a significant revision made to the outdated narrative surrounding aging, which holds that we must “fix” ourselves or take drastic measures to appear the same as we did in our 20s and 30s.

Too many of us are being made to genuinely fear aging as a result of the media’s persistent telling of that stale, old narrative. However, that doesn’t have to be the case, and I’m working to change that narrative as I go.

In a 2018 feature for Haute Living, Sigour provided seven recommendations for thriving in old age. These included physical activity; a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and low in red meat and bad fats that is good for the brain; mindful meditation; seven to nine hours of sleep per day; social interaction with family and friends; engaging in mentally stimulating activities; and scheduling cognitive tests with physicians.
