Former model Emma Heming – wife of actor Bruce Willis – said she is not as fine as she looks but always has to try hard to help her husband fight dementia and take care of their two young children.

On Instagram on August 14, Emma Heming posted a video confiding in her followers about her current situation. Emma said: “I know it seems like I’m living life just fine. I’ve had to make a conscious effort every day to live the best life I can. I do it for myself, for my two our child and Bruce”.

Emma’s voice choked up as she explained: “I don’t want people to misunderstand that I’m fine, because that’s not the case. I’m not fine but I have to try my best for myself and my family. When we don’t take care taking care of ourselves, we can’t take care of anyone we love, so that’s really important. Things aren’t easy, but I always try my best within my ability.”

The 45-year-old star admitted she had to break through the negative thoughts and feelings of “doom and gloom” in her head amid her increasingly difficult battle with her husband’s dementia. That’s also the reason why Emma once asked people to send her photos capturing beautiful moments in life. “Your photos make me happy,” she said.
