Eternal Sunshine, Ariana Grande’s first album in four years, has finally been revealed.

The 30-year-old singer, who last week released a new song called Yes, And? in which she addressed detractors of her new romance with Ethan Slater, thrilled fans by announcing that her seventh studio album will be released on March 8, 2024, International Women’s Day.

The 2004 movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, is the source of inspiration for the album’s new title. It centers on two people who have a treatment to remove one other from their memory when their relationship ends.

Before long, fans were ‘sobbing and throwing up’ over the new record on social media.

With her new song Yes, And?, the celebrity recently responded to the criticism she’s received over her romantic life in the last year.

The pop diva released the energetic song on Friday along with an intense music video; it’s her first since 2021.

The song’s lyrics seem to be directed at the backlash she faced due to her relationship with Ethan Slater, whom she started dating shortly after her breakup with Dalton Gomez.

She often asks, “Yes, and?” in an attempt to get her audience to consider why they feel the need to make comments about her life.

The pop princess continues, “Your business is yours, and mine is mine,” before asking, “Why do you care so much whose I ride?”

“Now I’m so done with caring what you think, no I won’t hide underneath your own projections or change my most authentic life,” she sings in another line.

The subdued response comes after Ariana came under fire in July when it was reported that she was seeing her Wicked costar Ethan, only a few days after it was revealed that she had broken up with Dalton.

The star recently fired back at the criticism she’s faced over her love life in the past year with her new single Yes, And?

The pop singer dropped the ditty, her first since 2021, with an electrifying music video to accompany it, on Friday.

To compound the eyebrow-raising, Ethan had just filed for divorce from his high school girlfriend, Lilly Jay.

In July 2023, he filed for divorce from her after they had welcomed their first child together in August 2022.

The lyrics surprised a lot of supporters, especially in light of the previous “homewrecker” accusations.

There were tweets saying things like, “Being a ‘homewrecker’ isn’t the flex you think it is,” and “I love Ari but she has glorified being the other woman so much, it hurts to see it.”

Indeed, someone other added, “It’s embarrassing to be doing this for Ethan Slater.”

Others gave their idol their support for seeming to stand up to the rumors.

One follower commented, “She doesn’t give a phuck about those home wrecker allegations lmao love it for her.”

The sultry song also follows reports that in November, Ariana and Ethan escalated their connection. The singer of Dangerous Woman is now residing in New York City with her Wicked co-star as he plays Spamalot.

The two got together in December 2022 while working on the UK set of the Wicked movie, which is based on the popular Broadway musical. Ariana plays Glinda, the good witch, while Ethan plays Munchkin Boq.
