On Friday night, Tom Cruise had a great time out at a chic private members’ club in London with Henry Cavill and his girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.

The 61-year-old actor smiled as he arrived at Oswald’s, looking nice in a navy suit and light blue shirt.

Henry, forty, was dressed warmly with a brown trench coat, checkered slacks, and a navy top underneath.

Natalie, a 33-year-old business executive, kept toasty in a trench coat while sporting a classic black pair of pants and a white satin blouse.

It follows the announcement that, thanks to the enormous box office success of the first film, Tom will be taking to the skies once more for a new Top Gun sequel.

The 61-year-old celebrity is set to return to the role of Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. Paramount, which will be producing the film once more, is aiming to bring him back together with his previous costars, Glen Powell and Miles Teller.

Only a few days after Cruise inked a contract with Warner Bros. to produce and create new pictures for that company, including ones in which he would star, word has leaked that he is once again working with Paramount, the studio where several of his recent films have been released.

Ehren Kruger, a co-writer on Maverick, is penning the script for the third installment of the series, according to Puck News.

As a result of his critical and financial success, filmmaker Joseph Kosinski is also anticipated to make a comeback, according to sources who spoke with The Hollywood Reporter.

Despite his ongoing work with the studio, Cruise’s previous contract with Paramount expired in 2006; his current contract with Warner Bros. is nonexclusive, so he will still be able to work with other companies.

On the Warners property, he is anticipated to receive his own office.

The eagerly awaited Top Gun: Maverick sequel was led by Cruise and his co-stars to nearly $1.5 billion in box office receipts. The action movie’s months-long run in theaters helped spark a cinematic revival despite the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

THR says that the high-flying sequel has been secretly in production since the late fall, despite some viewing the announcement as an attempt to stifle the favorable coverage Warner Bros. was receiving for landing a Cruise link.

Regarding the development, Paramount remained silent.

It will be some time before the picture even begins production, despite Hollywood’s and theater owners’ hopes that Cruise may bring in big box office returns with another hit Top Gun movie.

The actor must first complete the eighth episode of the Mission: Impossible series, which is a direct sequel to Dead Reckoning: Part 1, which did not live up to expectations.

The movie might have suffered from having only a short run on premium theaters before being forced out by the Barbenheimer juggernaut (the simultaneous release of Barbie and Oppenheimer in the same week).

Even as Cruise recently signed an agreement to produce and develop movies for Warner Bros., Top Gun 3—which followed Maverick’s astounding $1.5 billion grosses—is poised to release; still from Top Gun: Maverick

Starting on December 22, Top Gun: Maverick will be accessible for streaming.

Based on Maverick’s production timeline, Top Gun 3’s development may take a long time. The next M:I movie is scheduled for release in May 2025.

After nearly ten years away from his last Warner Bros. release, the critically acclaimed movie Edge of Tomorrow (2014), Cruise is back at the company.

In addition to his breakout performances in 1983’s Risky Business and The Outsiders, he also starred in the following films at the studio: Eyes Wide Shut (1999), The Last Samurai (2003), Interview With the Vampire (1994), and Rock of Ages (2012).

Additionally, he starred in the 1999 film Magnolia, which was released by Warner Bros.-owned New Line Cinema.
