Brad Pitt would ‘go a long time without showering’ while living in run-down apartment in LA in the 1980s, reveals former roommate Jason Priestley
Another story from Jason Priestley described his “brief period of time” in 1987 when he shared a two-bedroom apartment in a fairly poor neighborhood of Los Angeles with Brad Pitt and another male roommate.
Brad wasn’t as horrible as my previous roommate, who was a complete mess, the 54-year-old Canadian-American remembered during Tuesday’s LIVE with Kelly and Mark.
Brad, though, was OK.
The crowd emitted a loud gasp as Jason recounted playing a game with his housemates called “to see who could go the longest without showering.”
Now that I think about it, I think, “Dude, how disgusting.” “What were you thinking?” Priestley concurred.

In Tuesday’s LIVE with Kelly and Mark, the 54-year-old Canadian-American said, “Brad wasn’t as bad as my other roommate, who was an absolute disaster.” Brad, though, was OK.

“Brad always [won], Brad,” He could go for extended periods without taking a shower back then, but I don’t think he does that now.
In his 2014 memoir, the Börje actress talked of their shared lifestyle of ramen noodles, generic beer (the kind that came in white cans labeled “beer”), and Marlboro Light cigarettes.
However, as Jason disclosed about one Christmas exchange on The Rachael Ray Show in 2019, it wasn’t all revelry: “[Brad] brought us all Bibles.” Our names were engraved, and they looked quite lovely. Mine is still with me; it’s on my bookshelves at home.
Priestley didn’t fully become a teenage idol until 1990, when he was chosen to play the dashing Brandon Walsh, a transplant from Minnesota, in the popular teen series Beverly Hills, 90210 on Fox.
When Pitt played the dashing and alluring armed robber J.D. in Ridley Scott’s 1991 masterpiece Thelma & Louise, he shot to fame the very next year.
This Wednesday marks the launch of Michael Konyves’ 10-episode police drama Wild Cards on The CW and CBC Gem. The two-time Golden Globe nominee was promoting his role as master conman George Graham.
Regarding his personal life, Jason is married to make-up artist Naomi Lowde for eighteen years. Together, they have two teenage children: son Dashiell, 14, and daughter Ava, 16.
In the meanwhile, Jon Watts’ thriller Wolves, which debuts on Apple TV+ on September 20, stars the two-time Oscar winner as a lone wolf fixer facing another two-time winner George Clooney. Watts produced the film.
Regarding Apple, Brad received a $30 million contract to feature and produce Joseph Kosinski’s unnamed Formula One action drama as retired driver Sonny Hayes. The release date is unknown.
