A new team has signed Fabio Carvalho! A disastrous loan to RB Leipzig has sent a Liverpool prospect tumbling to the Championship.
Following his underwhelming stint with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, Fabio Carvalho is ready to join Hull on loan from Liverpool.
The оffensive midfielder has played in 21 senior matches for Liverpool and was sent on loan to Leipzig to continue his studies, although he didn’t really make an impact there. He played the full 90 minutes just once, in a Champions League victory over BSC Young Boys, and he only started once in the Bundesliga. But from here on out, he’ll be playing for Hull.
The transfer is almost done, according to Hull owner Acun Ilicali, who spoke to Sky Sports News. Other clubs were also interested in Carvalho.
He and we have an agreement on all parameters. The news that he will be donning the Hull shirt fills me with joy. We are nearly finished. All that is required is the announcement to be made. “The club will do it,” he declared.
He was offered to a lot of other clubs, but he ultimately decided to play for us. The reason behind this is our approach to the game. Playing excellent football, Liam Rosenior really influences that.
A place where he can play football is where he wants to go. He would thrive in Hull, where he can hone his skills. We have an amazing coach, great players, and an amazing club. Here, everything is great.
At the tender age of 21, Carvalho has already represented Portugal and England in their youth teams. He has not yet been capped at the senior level, therefore he can still declare for either Portugal or Spain. His most recent cap was with the Portugal U21s.
In the next days, Carvalho will be hoping to finalize his loan transfer to Hull. On Friday, the Tigers return to Championship play against Norwich.
