The top two nominees are Barbie and Oppenheimer, the two most eagerly awaited films of the previous year.

Barbie led the field of nominees with nine, including best picture musical or comedy, acting honors for Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie, and three awards for the film’s original songs.

Oppenheimer, the film that accompanied it on the ‘Barbenheimer’ release date, garnered eight nominations, including best picture drama and roles for Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt.

Greta Gerwig and Christopher Nolan, who directed the respective films, are nominated for best director and best screenplay, respectively.

Additionally, Martin Scorsese’s ᴋɪʟʟers of the Flower Moon has seven nominations. Robert De Niro is nominated for best supporting male actor, and Leonardo DiCaprio for best male actor in a motion picture drama.

Both Emma Stone from The Curse and Keri Russell from The Diplomat were nominated for best television female actress drama series.

The candidates for best female actor in a motion film musical or comedy were revealed by the Golden Globes, and they are: Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Alma Poysti, Margo Robbie, and Fantasia Barrino.

Air, American Fiction, Barbie, The Holdovers, May December, and Poor Things were all nominated for best feature musical or comedy.

Two new categories, Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, will make their premiere at the ceremony.
