On Saturday, 23-year-old Halle Bailey surprised her followers by revealing that she had given birth to a boy.

For months, there have been rumors circulating that Halle and DDG were expecting a child, but they have both denied the rumors.

DDG recently advised fans inquiring about his personal life to “mind your business” and refuted rumors that he had a daughter in secret. This was on New Year’s Eve.

Halle joyfully disclosed this past weekend that she gave birth to a healthy boy named Halo at some point in 2023.

With a touching photo of herself holding her baby son’s hand while he wore a gold bracelet with his name inscribed on it, she revealed the news on Instagram.

‘Welcome to the world, my halo,’ the Little Mermaid star exclaimed, maybe giving a hint to all the speculative speculation, before continuing, ‘the world is dying to know you.’

During a Q&A on Snapchat on New Year’s Eve, DDG firmly said “No” to a fan who inquired, “Do you have a daughter?”

The fact that Halle’s and his followers were “so invested in what I got going on or what we got going on,” he said, puzzled.

“Like, bro, mind your business,” DDG, whose Christian name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., continued. Like, “Hey, go outside and feel the grass.”

Back in September of last year, Halle was the subject of an ongoing rumor on social media that she was expecting a child.

When Halle was seen out with DDG in Santa Monica in October and was wearing an incredibly baggy sweatshirt, the pregnancy rumors went completely out of control.

She fueled the flames by sharing an album of her bikini photos in November, diligently posing with her back to the camera for each picture.

The online chatter grew so intense that Halle exasperatedly responded in the middle of that month, firing back at claims she had a ‘pregnancy nose’

In response to reports that she had a “pregnancy nose,” Halle responded with exasperation in the middle of that month when the online conversation became so intense.

“It’s going to be hell to pay if I see one more person make fun of my nose,” she declared. “And you understand why?” Since I am African American. My nose is something I adore.

Her romance with DDG is the ‘first time’ she has ever truly been in love, she disclosed in September, the month the pregnancy rumors started to circulate.

She said to Cosmopolitan, “You know, you have puppy love experiences, and you think that’s love.” However, this is my first truly meaningful love.

“Really, all musical inspiration just comes from life experiences,” she revealed. For me, love has also been a major one since it’s something I’m feeling for the first time, and it makes you go “whoa” in your head. It’s merely a creative spark, like fireworks.

The two were initially connected in the beginning of 2022, and DDG revealed their relationship that March by sharing an overjoyed birthday Instagram tribute.

When Essence inquired about Halle’s romantic feelings for DDG in August of that year, the pop singer said, “Yes.” I am, without a doubt.

During his appearance on The Breakfast Club towards the end of 2022, DDG revealed that he was “eventually” open to the idea of proposing to Halle.
