Christian Pulisic is on the verge of setting a new record for Chelsea in Milan

U.S. national team captain Christian Pulisic is well on his way to surpassing his own record of thirteen goal contributions set in his debut season with Chelsea, as he has been involved in ten goals for Milan this season.

Pulisic scored the game-winning goal in the second half of Milan’s 1-0 victory over Sassuolo at San Siro on Saturday, the final game of 2023.

Pulisic has scored six goals in Serie A this season and contributed ten goals for the Rossoneri in 2023–24. He has also recorded four assists throughout this season.

Pulisic is reportedly on the verge of surpassing his own record for goal contributions in a single campaign, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. In his debut season with Chelsea (2019–2020), he scored 13 goals.

The American winger has been outstanding all season, but his several game-winning goals—including an October winner against Genoa and a Champions League goal against Newcastle—are even more remarkable.

At St. James’ Park, he scored Milan’s first and only European goal, tying the game in halftime before Samuel Chukwueze scored the victory.

Pulisic has a total of seven goals in 22 games played this season, spanning all competitions.

After joining the Rossoneri from Chelsea in a €20 million transfer last summer, the 25-year-old inked a contract that would keep him with the club until June 2027 at the Stadio Meazza.

According to reports, Chelsea is reportedly in talks with Nice to recruit Jean-Clair Todibo.

We аre lоng delаyed fоr the first trаnsfer rumоr оf the mоnth, аs the Jаnuаry trаnsfer windоw is just а few hоurs оld. Silly Seаsоn hаs оfficiаlly begun, sо pleаse, let the flооdgаtes оpen. оf cоurse, there hаs been plenty gоing up tо it.

First up, we have a report from Foot Mercato, who are usually spot-on when covering Ligue 1 players; but, their credibility takes a Һit whenever they make a “exclusive” claim. Anyway, according to them, center defender Jean-Clair Todibo’s transfer to Chelsea has been “opened talks” with OGC Nice.

There is absolutely no reason why we need another center back right now, as was the case with earlier center back speculations (like Ousmane Diomande). Though he’s showing no signs of youth, Thiago Silva will likely be in the team until the season concludes, when Wesley Fofana will likely return. We already have a JT-regen among us, even if this guy’s initials are JT.

Since Todibo is now 24 years old, he is a good match for our current m.o. After a failed transfer to Barcelona from Toulouse, he has spent the past three years back in France. During that time, he has been a mainstay for the unexpecteԀ team that is now in the running for a top-four spot, with the help of former Chelsea players Jérémie Boga and Marcin Bułka. Even though he has the record for the quickest red card in league history (9 seconds!), Todibo is a large man with good technical and physical abilities and an important cog in France’s top defense this year. We’re apparently next in line for a move to the Premier League after rumors of interest from Tottenham, Manchester United, and others surfaced.
