As the Reds get ready to meet Newcastle on Monday, they are still missing a few players. However, Alexis Mac Allister, a midfielder, is ready to make a comeback.
Mac Allister has missed Liverpool’s previous seven games due to an ιnjury sustained during the team’s earlier-in-the-month encounter against Sheffield United.
However, based on his yesterday’s Instagram post, the 25-year-old is back and prepared to go.
“I’m thrilled to be back on the field with even more determination than before.” With a picture of himself and some of his teammates during a training session, Mac Allister wrote.
Overcoming obstacles and emerging stronger. I appreciate everyone’s unwavering support.
Mac Allister content at Liverpool
Mac Allister is entitled to happiness after adjusting to Liverpool with ease.
Since moving to Brighton in the summer, it hasn’t always been simple for him. However, the Argentine has adapted to the level increase rather well overall.
Mac Allister, who started the season as one of Jurgen Klopp’s starting midfielders, contributed to an incredible first half of the campaign.
He will be eager to make an impact on this fantastic Liverpool team once more after sitting out the last few games.
It’s likely that Macca will start from the bench against Newcastle next week because Wataru Endo is playing well.
But Mac Allister’s comeback is welcome, especially because Endo is leaving for the Asian Cup after Monday’s match.
Macca will once again carry the bulk of Liverpool’s No. 6 hopes when the Japanese is not present. The Argentina international appeared to be the defensive midfield solution for the long run prior to his ιnjury.
Endo has put a lot of effort into that particular headwear since Mac Allister’s аccident in Sheffield. Now that he’s healthy again, the £35 million acquisition needs to reclaim his spot in the starting lineup. It’s good to know he’s content because we’re also thrilled to have him on board.
