Pоchettinо’s ‘wоunded’ Chelsea keep trying tо learn the same lessоns, and failing

Going forward, but then going backwards. There have been two advances and two retreats. Every progress is met with a massive setback. Things I’ve learnt? Exactly zero. Irregularities are the sole observable consistency. Same old meaningless babble, that’s what the explanations were.

The threshold for progress and process has been reduced, and we still keep failing to clear it.

The passage of time. By what amount of time does it remain?

Our lack of discipline puts us first in the league. In terms of “big chances” that were blown, we are currently in first place. As well as likely take the lead in goals conceded that are completely pointless. Concerning transfer spending, we are at the head of the pack. Delusions of grandeur guide us as we lead it. Although we are relatively young, age is nothing more than a statistic and an excuse. If we do in fact constitute a family, it will be severely dysfunctional. It will take years of rehabilitation for us.

We are deeply let down because, in my opinion, we are worthy of so much more. When you lack the necessary clinical acumen, this competition can be devastating. We made opportunities. That is precisely why it is disheartening. We gave up after a few bends because it was too tough.

At the start of the season, we were quite communicative. We are relatively young. A youthful squad. The league is a new experience for some of our athletes. Adaptation is necessary. Quality and self-assurance are key.

To come out on top in these games, we have to score goals. We are quite let down. If we are unable to score, there are occasions when we must maintain a clean sheet. Our concessions were excessive. Persevere and make no letups. Such a game is great for teaching young teams the ropes.
