Sad news: How will the Africa Cup of Nations affect the Premier League? Liverpool will be without star player Mohamed Salah

From January 13th to the 11th, the 34th Africa Cup of Nations will be held.

Ivory Coast will host the event, and as is customary, there will be a large number of Premier League teams competing.

The Premier League players whose teams could be affected by their participation in the competition are evaluated by Mail Sport.

ARSENAL

Potential competitors at the event:

Congratulations to Thomas Partey of Ghana!

January 20: Crystal Palace (home), January 30: Nottingham Forest (away), February 4: Liverpool (home), and February 11: West Ham (away) are the fixtures taking place during the AFCON.

Because Thomas Partey of Ghana has had a rough go of it with injuries, Mikel Arteta’s team selection shouldn’t be too affected by the possible absence of two midfielders from Arsenal.

The Gunners’ squad player Mohamed Elneny, who is from Egypt, has also struggled with ιnjury.

Ston Villa

Birhanou Faso’s Bertrand Traore?

January 14th: away to Everton, January 30th: home to Newcastle, AFCON fixtures. Match dates: February 3 (away) vs. Manchester United (home), February 11 (home).

It won’t be a huge deal if Bertrand Traore is away at the tournament with Burkina Faso because he hasn’t been playing a significant role for Aston Villa this season.

From Bournemouth

The Burkinabe people of Dango Ouattara

Ivory Coast’s Hamed Traore

Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo

Scheduled games for the AFCON: January 21 at home vs. Liverpool, February 1 away vs. West Ham, February 4 at home vs. Nottingham Forest, and February 10 away vs. Fulham.

Potentially three Bournemouth players will compete in the event.

Antoine Semenyo, who has seen extensive Premier League action, and Dango Ouattara, of Burkina Faso, are both valuable additions to the team. Hamed Traore, in the meantime, has remained outside the action.

During this time, Bournemouth will face some challenging opponents, including Liverpool at home.

The Brentford

Don R. Congo native Yoane Wissa

From Nigeria, Frank Onyeka

January 20: Nottingham Forest at home; January 31: Tottenham away; February 5: Manchester City at home; February 10: Wolves away; these are the fixtures for the AFCON.

Because of a potential three-month layoff due to an ankle ιnjury, Bryan Mbeumo will not be able to play for Cameroon.

Thomas Frank will be frustrated that Brentford may still be without Yoane Wissa and Frank Onyeka because of their obligations with DR Congo and Nigeria, respectively.

During the competition, Brentford will play against Manchester City and Tottenham.

The city of Brighton

Ghanaian Tariq Lamptey

From Cameroon, Carlos Baleba

Ivorian Simon Adingra

The Tunisian Samy Chouchane

Schedule for AFCON: January 22nd at home vs. Wolves, January 30th away vs. Luton, February 3rd at home vs. Crystal Palace, and February 10th away vs. Tottenham

It is unclear whether Tariq Lamptey would be called up by Ghana due to his ιnjury struggles.

Concerns about missing out on dangerous Ivorian Simon Adingra, Carlos Baleba, and academy player Samy Chouchane are understandable.

A. Burnley

The Moroccan Anass Zaroury

January 15th: Luton at home, January 31st: Manchester City away, February 3rd: Fulham at home, and February 10th: Liverpool away are the fixtures during AFCON.

The Africa Cup of Nations shouldn’t have too much of an impact on Burnley, however Anass Zaroury’s inclusion in the Moroccan squad is a distinct possibility.

Lyle Foster was selected to play in the tournament for South Africa’s preliminary squad. But Burnley boss Vincent Kompany has already stated that Foster will sit this one out.

Foster returned to action last week against Everton after taking a vacation from football to receive expert therapy for his mentаl welfare.

CHELSEA

A Senegalese named Nicolas Jackson

When the AFCON begins, the following games will be played: January 13 at Fulham, January 23 at Middlesbrough (Carabao Cup second leg), January 31 away to Liverpool, February 4 at Wolves, and February 12 away to Crystal Palace.

Even though he has been Chelsea’s primary striker this season, Nicolas Jackson will be playing for Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations. So, unless the Blues get another striker, Armando Broja might have to start for them.

Among the several games Jackson may sit out in January is Chelsea’s away match against Liverpool.

PALACE OF CRYSTALS

Kofi Ayew – Suρer Ghana

Sacha Schlupp – Sierra Leone

January 20th: Arsenal away, January 30th: Sheffield United home — Both games are part of the AFCON schedule. Brighton (away) on February 3 and Chelsea (home) on February 12.

Crystal Palace’s Jordan Ayew is still a mainstay for Ghana, despite being 32 years old. He has 90 caps to his nаme. As a result, he may not be able to play in Palace’s league matches against Chelsea and Arsenal.

Cheick Doucoure, who would have played for Mali, will miss a significant amount of time due to an Achilles tear.

In spite of his 20 caps, Jeffrey Schlupp has not been summoned to the Ghana national team since 2021.

at the Eton

Mali – Abdoulaye Doucoure

Idrissa Gueye hails from Senegal

Jan 14: At home against Aston Villa; Jan 30: Away against Fulham; Feb 3: At home against Tottenham; Feb 10: Away against Manchester City; here are the fixtures for the AFCON.

Despite having only two caps for Mali, Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucoure could earn a spot on the national team.

On the other hand, Senegalese standout Idrissa Gueye has more over 100 caps, making him an important figure for his nation.

Everton faces a tough stretch of games, including home games against Tottenham and away games against Manchester City.

FULHAM

A Nigerian named Calvin Bassey

Dakar, Senegal – Fode Ballo-Toure

Nigerian Alex Iwobi

January 13: Chelsea away, January 24: Liverpool (Carabao Cup second leg), January 30: Everton at home, February 3: Burnley away, and February 10: Bournemouth at home are all fixtures during the AFCON.

Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, both from Nigeria, will not be able to play for Fulham. Their absence could be felt during the road match against Chelsea.

Although the left back hasn’t played a significant role for Fulham, Senegal may call up Fode Ballo-Toure.

Liverpool FC

Salah Mohamed of Egypt

At the AFCON, the schedule reads as follows: January 21 at Bournemouth, January 24 at Fulham (Carabao Cup second leg), and January 31 at Chelsea (home). Match dates: February 4 (away) and February 10 (home)

Merseyside star Mohamed Salah, who will lead Egypt in the tournament, will likely be the most conspicuous Premier League player missing from action.

Although Jurgen Klopp is crossing his fingers that his team can manage without the winger, Liverpool face tough opponents like Chelsea at home and Arsenal on the road during the competition.

Despite being out for some time with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, Cameroonian defender Joel Matip has already retired from international play.

The Luctons

Located in Burkina Faso, Issa Kabore

Mr. Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu from the Democratic Republic of the Congo

As for the AFCON schedule, the following games are scheduled: January 15 at Burnley, January 30 at Brighton, February 3 at Newcastle, and February 10 at Sheffield United.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu, a player for Luton, may not be available because he is considering joining the DR Congo squad. Issa Kabore might possibly be chosen by Burkina Faso.

But since Zimbabwe isn’t competing, they can keep Marvelous Nakamba on board.

I am in London.

There were no competitors in the tournament.

Schedule for AFCON: January 13th: Burnley (home), January 31st: Brentford (away), February 5th: Everton (home)

The competition will have zero effect on Pep Guardiola’s squad, and they’re hoping to get some early momentum with most of their players available.

United Manchester

The Cameroonian Andre Onana

Mejbri Hannibal of Tunisia

A Moroccan named Sofyan Amrabat

Here are the fixtures for the AFCON: January 14th, Tottenham at home; February 1st, Wolves away; February 4th, West Ham at home; and February 11th, Aston Villa away.

Even though Andre Onana hasn’t exactly been spectacular since joining Manchester United, Erik ten Hag would still be without his starting goalkeeper if Cameroon called him up.

Along with youngster Hannibal Mejbri, midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is also expected to travel with Morocco. United will play Tottenham away during the AFCON.

Amad Diallo of the Ivory Coast has been dealing with a knee problem.

Manchester United

There were no competitors in the tournament.

Schedule for AFCON: January 13 at home vs. Man City, January 30 away vs. Aston Villa, February 3 vs. Luton, and February 10 away vs. Nottingham Forest.

Eddie Howe will be grateful that Newcastle will not be missing any players from the Africa Cup of Nations, given the club’s depth has been relatively low as of late.

NEWTON FOREST

Ivorian Ibrahim Sangare

This is Senegal’s Cheikhou Kouyate.

Sao Tomé and Príncipe, Africa

Ivorian designer Serge Aurier

Ivorian Willy Boly

Nigerian song by Ola Aina

The following games are scheduled during the AFCON: January 20th at Brentford, January 30th at Arsenal, February 4th at Bournemouth, and February 10th at Newcastle.

If any Premier League club is going to take a Һit from the Africa Cup of Nations, it’s Nottingham Forest.

Forest may be short six players despite the probable ιnjury withdrawal of Nigerian attacker Taiwo Awoniyi.

On the one hand, the Ivory Coast will be represented by Serge Aurier, Willy Boly, and Ibrahim Sangare; on the other, Senegal may send Cheikhou Kouyate and Moussa Niakhate; while Nigeria may send Ola Aina.

Even worse, while the competition is happening, Forest will play against Arsenal and Newcastle.

Liverpool FC

Coulibaly Ismaila – Mali

Moroccan anis ben slimane

Algiers’ Yasser Larouci

January 21 at West Ham (home), January 30 away to Crystal Palace, February 3 at Aston Villa (home), and February 10 away to Luton are all fixtures during AFCON.

While Algeria’s new signing Yasser Larouci could be a distraction for Sheffield United, the club could be without Ismaila Coulibaly and Anis Ben-Slimane for the tournament. Though he has competed for the Ivory Coast U23s, Benie Traore has not yet earned a senior national team call-up.

WEST HAM

Mali Yves Bissouma

Senegali Pape Matar Sarr

For the AFCON, the schedule reads as follows: January 14th, away to Manchester United; January 31st, at Brentford; February 3rd, at Everton; and February 10th, at Brighton.

Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham’s manager, has dealt with injuries and suspensions before; he may be without two midfielders at the tournament.

The Mali squad will feature Yves Bissouma, and Senegal may send Pape Matar Sarr. Just before the commencement of the AFCON, Tottenham will play Manchester United away.

INTERNATIONAL HAM

Ghanaian Mohammed Kudus…

The Ivorian cornet player Maxwel

An Algerian named Said Benrahma

Morocco/Nayef Aguerd

The following matches are scheduled to take place during the AFCON: January 21 at Sheffield United, February 1 at Bournemouth, February 4 at Manchester United, and February 11 at Arsenal.

In January, West Ham may have some challenges due to the Africa Cup of Nations. Mohammed Kudus’s probable absence adds to the dilemma.

In addition to Nayef Aguerd and Said Benrahma, Ivory Coast may recall Maxwel Cornet, who has seen limited action for the Hammers this season.

The Hammers will be competing in the AFCON alongside Arsenal and Manchester United.

A pack of wolves

An Algerian named Rayan Ait-Nouri

Moroccan Boubacar Traore

January 22nd: Brighton away, February 1st: Manchester United at home, February 4th: Chelsea away, and February 10th: Brentford at home are all fixtures during the AFCON.

In Wolves’ case, Algerian international Rayan Ait-Nouri is out with an ιnjury, and in Mali’s, Boubacar Traore is vying for a starting spot.
